We are excited to invite you to Combient Pure’s upcoming Roundtable Series on Circular Design. This series will provide an opportunity for interactive discussions among Combient companies on how to integrate circularity into product design, business models and value chain redesign. Each session offers practical insights and peer-to-peer sharing to fast-forward your organization’s circular value creation.
This roundtable series is funded by the Digitala Stambanan project (Vinnova), where for the past year Combient Pure has collaborated with Chalmers University.

Designing products for circularity
This first session will focus on how to design products for circularity, addressing key factors like durability, modularity, standardization, repairability and recyclability. We will hear case examples from the Combient network on how to develop and integrate relevant circular design principles and guidelines on company-level. After each case the participants have the possibility to ask questions and discuss.
This session is aimed especially at product design, product development, product management, procurement and sustainability professionals in the Combient network companies.

Circular (service) Business Models’ Requirements for Product Design
The second roundtable explores how service-based circular business models, such as Product-as-a-Service and product sharing, influence product design. Participants will discuss the product design changes these models require, including designing for servicing, incorporating IoT and connectivity, and ensuring modularity to support repairs or upgrades. The session will also offer insights into customer acceptance of these circular business models.
This session is aimed especially at product design, product development, product management, service and sustainability professionals in the Combient network companies.

Value Chain Collaboration – Unlocking Circular Potential through Partnerships
The last session of this roundtable series will focus on new value chain partnerships to enhance circularity. The discussion will center on how value chains need to be redesigned for a circular economy: What are the new ecosystem partners needed for enabling circularity? How can companies start exploring new partners e.g. for reverse logistics or specific material recycling?
This session is aimed especially at product management, supply chain, innovation, partnership management and sustainability professionals in the Combient network companies.
