Scarcity of resources, unstable global supply chains and decarbonization are all driving our development towards a circular economy. If we are going to achieve a more circular economy, we will need more tools to help companies make the transition. There is a clear need for making the demand and supply of recycled materials more transparent - information that will help companies see and act on opportunities to improve circularity in their value chains.
One of the Combient network companies, Stora Enso, wanted to create a concrete solution that enables easier and more cost-effective utilization of recycled materials as well as the development of new material innovations together with other actors. Together with Combient Pure and as a part of the Business Lab by Stora Enso portfolio, Stora Enso has developed a pilot version of the Waste to Value platform.
Waste to Value platform helps companies see what opportunities for circularity exist around them. Companies can share what they offer, or are looking for, and can be matched by the platform to a full value chain of partners that fit their needs. In the full version of the platform, companies will be able to contact interesting partners, assess the environmental footprint of different potential value chains, and much more!

and give us your feedback - we are looking for partners to take this to the next level!
