- Kaer – Cooling-as-a-Service, Dave Mackerness
- Adapteo - Space-as-a-Service, Mariana Edge
- Next steps & closing words, Melissa Kanerva, Program manager, Combient Pure
The hybrid event was followed by a matchmaking sessions for onsite participants, including company pitches on circularity activities and 1-to-1 speed dating between companies.
The Nordic Circularity Piloting Program continues in fall 2025 with real-life pilots on circular concepts for technical building equipment. Read more about the piloting phase, or sign up to our newsletter list to hear when dates are announced for our open spring 2026 events, where we will present learnings from the pilots.
Program details
A Nordic piloting program for circularity in technical building solutions creates new business opportunities.
A group of Nordic companies come together to promote circularity in the building sector’s value chain wide effort: a program led by Combient Pure and funded by Nordic Innovation pilots circular technical solutions in buildings to fast-forward the circular offering development of products like Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, door systems and elevators.
In 2023, Combient Pure, Vasakronan, ASSA ABLOY, KONE and Swegon came together in a joint program to accelerate developments in circularity. The focus was to develop the internal capabilities for circularity in the participating companies. The companies are now continuing the journey to fast-track the development of circular solutions for technical building equipment in a new piloting program, aiming at value chain wide impact. The group of companies is now joined by other industry players: Skanska, Multiconsult, Demontera, NollaE and Cradlenet. The piloting program is funded by Nordic Innovation.
Spring 2025
- 4 Value chain session on circularity in technical building solutions:
- Circularity in Technical Building Equipment: Current State and Opportunities, Stockholm, February 13th 2025
- Designing Circular Solutions Across the Value Chain, Helsinki, March 6th, 2025
- Collaboration and Partnerships for Circularity, Oslo April 10th, 2025

Participating to the Value chain sessions does not require companies to pilot.
- 4 Value chain session on circularity in technical building solutions:
The program is open for any building sector related actor that is interested in developing the circularity of technical building equipment. A participating company may for example be a:
- technical building product manufacturer
- property owner, construction company
- installation company
- planning office
- circular marketplace
- provider of logistics
- provider of warehousing services
We encourage you to join us and become a part of this pioneering journey!
