Launching the Circular Business Forum

Across industries, the main challenge in circularity has shifted: it is no longer about finding circularity development ideas, but about scaling circular business solutions within organizations and across value chains that are still largely built for linear business. Starting this fall, the Circular Business Forum will provide an ongoing platform for peer-to-peer learning, best-practice sharing, and joint problem-solving around the hurdles to scaling circular businesses.

Our opening session, delivered together with the Smart Production Forum, anchors directly in real factory-floor execution rather than theoretical frameworks. We will showcase two companies with two distinct operational approaches:

  • Remanufacturing of Bearings at SKF:

Hannes Leopoldseder, Head of Business / Service Line Circular Solutions at SKF, will dive into how SKF built a dedicated remanufacturing production line for bearings, focusing on the operational capabilities behind it.

  • Factory Refurbishment Pilot at ASSA ABLOY:

Louise Eriksson, Circularity Director, and Heli Tolvanen, Product Sustainability Manager at ASSA ABLOY, will share insights from ASSA ABLOY’s refurbishment pilot, focusing on how an existing production line can be leveraged for circular operations.

You can find more information and register for the session on the Combient Twin event page. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us on melissa.kanerva@combient.com.

We look forward to kicking off this new forum with you in October!
